Springfield Public Schools is seeking applicants to fill the recently vacated Position 5 seat on the Springfield Public Schools Board of Directors.

Students at Hamlin Middle School now have a cozy place for reading, relaxing, and connecting with other avid literature lovers—the Carson Reading Room. Students got their first peek on November 6 of the new reading room, which was made possible thanks to a grant that was funded by the Gagon family.
The Springfield High School (SHS) Automotive Technology Program was awarded a $7,500 grant for an outreach project to help veterans fix their vehicles or receive a donated car.
